No Highlights On Inspected Objects

Description
Removes the MM scanmode highlights on already inspected objects, should lower visual clutter without affecting its usability that much (note that you won't be able to use scan mode to detect secret buttons).

Doesn't touch the other highlights, just the ones for already scanned objects.

Should be compatible with any other MM scanmode highlight mod, assuming that they don't do something stupid.

For me on OSB, it seems the config file only works when installed in the mods file manually. I was trying to do the same thing and patching that doesn't work from the workshop.
I should probably just take my mod down because this one has better ratings.

I don't use OSB so I can't really test with it.

My only guess is maby it doesn't like the way I remove the entries or something is overriding my mod?

Just to rule out the asset override possibility, try running the command /eval sb.printJson(root.assetJson("/highlights.config:highlightDirectives.inspected")) in admin mode and tell me what it returns.

As for the former, I could try replacing the directives with blank strings rather than removing them.

I think I originally did that incase if it helps with performance, but nowadays I don't think it was doing much anyways.

Can confirm, does not work with OSB.

This is such an essential visual mod for me, it's nice to not have everything in my vicinity glow at me even after scanning when I'm just holding the scanner around. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to work when I use it with OpenStarbound though? I'm not sure why.

It works fine on my end.

If your character is holding up a magnifying glass, that's not the scan tool, it's the starter version that only gives the item's description.

It gets upgraded during the quest where you scan stuff at the outpost.

Is this mod still working, I've came back to the game now and I can't see any highlight on objects when using the inspect tool. I'm playing on a fresh save btw.

Holding down the Alt key highlights interactable objects so that might help with the problem of not being able to use the scanner to find secret buttons with this
