Animal Husbandry - Basic Knowledge
Note:
-If the Farm Animal does not get their food.
They will produce nothing.

- Farm animal won't die of hunger.

- Currently, donkey and horses do not need food. They do not produce anything.

- You can fill manually the Feeding Rack or Through with Animal Feed in your inventory.

- Store Animal Feed in the Resource Storage chest or in the Sack or Barrel to automatically refill the Feeding Rack or Through.
Require: Animal Breeder to automate. Otherwise, you need to fill it manually.

Trough Reference:
1 Animal Feed = 3% (about 2 mins in-game time for 1 Rooster and 1 Hen)
5 Animal Feed = 17%
10 Animal Feed = 33%
20 Animal Feed = 67%
30 Animal Feed = 100%

Feeding Rack Reference:
1 Animal Feed = 2% (about 3 mins in-game time for 2 adult Horse, and 1 Foal)
5 Animal Feed = 10%
10 Animal Feed = 20%
20 Animal Feed = 40%
30 Animal Feed = 60%
40 Animal Feed = 80%
50 Animal Feed = 100%

- Pigsty eat more in one day than Chickens.
So not all Farm Animal consuming the same amount of Animal Feed in one day.

* Assign Animal Breeder for each animal house and change its rotation if you only have one Animal Breeder after a minute or so just in case.

* Each Animal Breeder will move around Animal Husbandry buildings at a certain time of day while in a working hour.

See the "Animal Husbandry Food" section for more info.

Note:
So far for me 1 or 2 years for a piglet to born.
I've heard 5 years for a calf.

Mind you the chance is not fully tested or experience.
So take it with a grain of salt or just enjoy it as you play.

===========================================================================
Can Farm Animal die?
Yes. If you stab them. They also will run away.

Are they produce meat?
Yes.

Are they produce any other resources?
Yes, depends on what kind of Farm Animal.
For example:
Horses produce 8 Meat, and 4 Leather when killed. You have to remove all the item first.
Foal produce 4 Meat, and 1 Leather when killed.

Can Farm Animal die of old age?
Yes.

@Argelle

Thank you Argelle ^^
The calculator spreadsheet is not mine, it was Sairi, however, I would believe it was made from default 3 days per season, the way the game intended to be played.

Honestly, I never test it with a custom setting. I would believe it would be the same. Yes as the patch v0.6.0.0, the feeding time should be the same as the inhabitant feeding time. 10 hours of working time. A day.

Excellent guide !!
by "food per hour" do you assume 10h/day and 5 days to make a season (by default setting)?
