Fish - Fishing Knowledge

* You can see fish with "Inspector Mode" by holding "Left+Alt".

* You can also catch a fish by using a Fishing Net.
Please see "Traps" section for more info.

* Fish will not spawn at night at some spawn area, similar to other wild animals.

* Best fishing from 7 AM - 8 PM, when inhabitant started to sleep as well as farm animals, that's why fish also do not spawn if you are not near their spawn area. Time is relative to your current position.

* You can convert Roach, Perch, and Pike into Fish Meat in the Fishing Hut Workbench.
Need a Knife.

* You can turn it into Roasted Fish in the Campfires.

Press and Hold "Ctrl+W or Up Arrow" to crouch and move underwater by not making a ripple above water which will spook fishes away.
However, once the distance near enough to a school of fish, they will swim away, just wait for them to come back by stay still on the surface of the water.

* Where I can make a Fishing Spear?

- Fishing Spear can be made in the Smithy Workbench.

Fishing Spear
Durability: 20/20 Single Weight: 2.5kg
A type of tool. Crafted at the Workbench in the Smithy. Can be used for fishing.

IMPORTANT:
- Fisher cannot use the fishing nets, only Racimir can.
- Fisher will only produce fish fillets or fish meat. Not a fish.
- To get the fish, such as Roach, Perch, and Pike. You can acquire them with manual fishing with a tool or a weapon, a fishing net used only by Racimir.

How to catch?

- Stay still and let them come to you to catch with Fishing Spear (or Iron Spear) or by threw it.
- Crouch underwater and throw the Fishing Spear (or Iron Spear).

Note:
When they swim away, it's gonna take a while for them to come back, just wait with patience and stay still.
Pay attention on which direction they swim away from, and they will come back from there as well.

Freshness: 100% Single Weight: 0.1kg
A fish, can be caught in lakes or by using fishing nets.

- Crouch underwater and throw the Fishing Spear (or Iron Spear).

Note:
When they swim away, it's gonna take a while for them to come back, just wait with patience and stay still.
Pay attention on which direction they swim away from, and they will come back from there as well.

Perch
