Description
Iberian Flavour Mod is a mod for Vanilla Imperator game! If you want to play with Invictus mod, you already have all this content merged there! Enjoy!
First of all, thank you so much! I'm really excited to see a lot of people liked this mod!
Hi and thanks for your attention! The Iberian Peninsula is a fun place to play. So many options, so many cultures and even religions! Found cities, build a nice road system... You have a white canvas to create your own civilization!
This mod focuses on giving some flavor to the Iberian Peninsula.
You will find:
- A revision of the Iberic faith.
- New Celtiberian deities.
- A Vettonian exclusive deity.
- A Lusitanian exclusive deity.
- A Nuragic exclusive deity.
- Relocated and new Holy Sites.
- A brand new religion representing the many beliefs of the Pre-Indo-European People: The Marite Faith!
- A revision of the Culture Groups of Iberian Peninsula.
- New Cultural and Exclusive Heritages.
- Two new Military Traditions: Celtiberian Traditions and Iberian Traditions.
- Celtiberian Culture Group starts with Celtic Traditions unlocked.
- Gadir, Menesthei, Homeroskopeion and Emporion start with Iberian Traditions unlocked.
- Tartessia and Turdetania start as Federated Tribe.
- New Cultural names for some territories.
- Vasconian and Autrigonian cultures can form Great Iberia.
- An Exclusive decision for Celtiberians (Culture) to Commission the Bronze Plaques (A Treasure).
- 12 new historic Treasures scattered around the Peninsula.

“Patch 1.1 (Luxinus)”
- New Turdetanian Setup!
- Saguntum and Saguntinia renamed to Arse and Arseia.
- Starting Events for the Turdetanian Tags, Gadir and Arse.
- Rework to the Levy composition for Iberians and Celt-Iberians.
- New culture: Oppidanian.
- New Heritages for the new tags.
- Added new Borders and Emblems for Iberians and Celt-Iberians.
- Rework and Expansion to the Iberian and Celt-Iberian Military Tradition Group.
- Rework to the Pops of Turdetania.
- New Cities around Iberia.
- Removed the city in the capital of Gymnaseia.
- Added a city in Ibasim.
- Two new Nuragic Exclusive deities.
- Removed Holy Site of Babai in Nora.
- Treasure “Tarshis Stelae” moved from Nora to Metalla.

I plan to keep updating the mod with balances and new content. I will be grateful for any interesting information or ideas. English is not my native language. If you find a misspell in localisation, please, tell me.
The mod edits the 00_default so may get incompatible with other mods that edit it.
I'm part of the Invictus Team and I will update this mod with all the content I create for Invictus, addapting it to vanilla.

Only English support (for now).
Compatible with 2.0.* (Marius).
NOT Ironman compatible.

Oooh, so that was the reason! Good to know. Actually, don't be so shy and please DO mention it before every description text. "This mod is included in Invictus, so enable it only when you play vanilla version"

Unfortunately this mod makes the game crush on New Game with Invictusus. Seems it needs updatusus

hey nice too meet you. First of all i love this mod because iberian is at vanilla or in the most mods often overlooked. the holy site of iberia region is in this mod very good i love it. my wish for the future is that is mod is compatible with the most flavour mods (meaning more buildings, or more treasurrers etc) by the way nice work and good Luck for the future ;)

I'm RivtalDM and I run Gladio et Sale, the biggest (well, basically the only) overhaul/expansion mod for Imperator:Rome. As the world of I:R is a big place (and I've made the map bigger for GeS) I've been actively recruiting people who might be interested in integrating regional flavor mods like yours into a larger project; one of my players strongly suggested your mod would be a great candidate that really dives in deep to bring to life a region (something I don't have time to do for every corner of the globe). So I'm reaching out to see if you might be interested in working together or would be willing to give permission for 'Iberian Flavor' to be integrated (with full credit to you, of course).

@[8thFla(A)]Pvt. D. Fanni Thank you so much for your advice! About Ibiza not being a city, I have this changed, ready for when I upload the next actualization with more content and changes. I saw weird too that Paradox didn't give Ibiza a city status but Palma is a city. And about the god Bes. Do you mean the Egyptian God? I didn't find a Phoenician God called Bes.
