Mod does polling, you can see it if you keep your mouse over the engrams in the Preserving Bin. Not good for performance. Additionally, if you open the inventory of the Forge and put a whole player's inventory of raw meat in it, you'll get a "outgoing relieable buffer overflow" crash due to the Forge trying to spoil instantly such a huge amount (I'm working with larger stacks with vanilla settings). Spoiled meat is not produced unless you open at least once the inventory, so you cannot use Transfer gun for instant crafting. Also, both buildings are unable to be used in Auto Crafter due to missing Engrams. Nevertheless, the fast Jerky/Spoiled Meat production impresses.

for me this mod is still very useful

I haven't confirmed it, but what you can do with a normal Forge should be possible with this Forge.
I feel that the number of creations was slightly less than that of metal ingots.
