Valheim: How to Use Console Commands and ᛈᚺᛊᚣᚾᛢ

Discover all Valheim commands with its developer console, activate it and create a world to your measure, with the fiercest enemies and more summoned bosses.
This guide is still under construction, it will be updated with images soon.

What are console commands in Valheim?

It should be noted that these are only ideal tricks to play, because with them we are allowed to have the possibility of embarking on a game with a little more comfort, although it is true, for some it may not be very attractive, it is evident that not everyone thinks the same way, as it is your decision whether you choose to use tricks or not.

How to activate console in Valheim?

To use the console, first open up your Steam library, right-click on Valheim and select properties. In the Launch Options box at the bottom, type in "-console". then close the window and launch Valheim.

To enable cheats in Valheim, type devcommands into the console and hit Enter. You'll see a message come up saying "Cheats: True". After that, you can use any of the below console commands as you like.

Basic Valheim Commands

puke	Resets fullness/hunger, returning you to default Health/Stamina.

exploremap	Explores the entire map, removing all fog of war.
resetmap	Resets map exploration, clearing ALL previously explored areas.
wind [angle 0-360] [intensity 0-1]	Sets wind to specified angle/intensity.
resetwind	Resets the wind to default.

Creative Mode controls

To turn on Creative Mode in Valheim, type debugmode into the console.

With Creative Mode enabled, you can:

• Hit "Z" to toggle Flying Mode;
• Hit "K" to kill all nearby enemies;
• Hit "B" to toggle No Placement Cost Mode.
With No Placement Cost enabled, you can repair your tools and equipment without the use of a Workbench.

banned	Prints a list of players banned from this server.

Spawn Commands

To spawn an item in Valheim, type spawn into the console, followed by the type of entity you want to spawn, and then the amount, and finally the level, if applicable.

For example, if you were to type in "spawn Boar 5 3", then 5 Boars would spawn in front of you, each of them level 3 (2-star).

How to get this to work on my server ? Before when the command was iamacheater, I was able to use these commands to spawn things and to fly. Now since the change to devcommands, it doesn't work. I still have my steam id in the adminliist.txt file and am using the -console command line switch. (I have not changes those settings) The client and server are on different machines on my LAN.

THX, this is useful. I spotted 2 small mistakes : The trophies section has the same commands twice (copy/paste mistake I guess) and he special arrows have the wrong names (ID is good).
