Main Concept

The main objective of this rework is to push Abomination to alternate between his forms depending on the fight, even rewarding transforming mid combat. Human is focused around utility with a stun, pull and stress heal while Beast has damage, but also bring counters to many situtations (shuffle, stealth, mark, stun...). The days of tranforming Abomination for a single skill are over. However once transformed Abomination can't return to his human form till the combat ends, forcing the player to play aggressivly if he doesn't want Abomination to become afflicted.

Overall

Speed has been nerf by 2 across every level. Abomination is now religious since his barks mention being part of a religious order. Upon transforming he will now take 6 stress immediately (but other heroes will only take 6 instead of 8); he will also consume a turn of whatever is on him (DoT, horror, buff, debuff...). Beast form will automatically turn back to human once combat ends.

Skill Changes
(at max level)

•Transform :
Abomination take immediatly 6 stress with his companions. His buff now last the whole battle and speed buffs have been change to scale better.

•Manacles :
-10 Acc nerf, -10% dmg modifier (was -60%, is now -70%)

•Enslave (replace Beast's Bile : XOOX-XOOO
"Abomination use his chains to grab even the most protected target"
115 Acc, +6% crit, -90% dmg modifier
Pull 2 (140%), bypass and delete guard

•Absolution :
Abomination stress heal a friendly target for 7 and himself for 6. If Abomination targets himself he will be stress heal by 13.

•Bestial Shriek (replace Transform in Beast form) :
"Abomination scream and jump forward ready to inflict a deadly blow. This refocus his companions but also scare them."
Clear mark and stun on everyone, +6 stress on other heroes. Forward 3 and next attack is guaranteed crit.

•Apex Reflexe (replace Rake) :
"Abomination use his bestial senses to detect and cripple his prey."
110 Acc, crit +5%, -40%dmg modifier
Bypass and delete stealth, debuff -7 speed and -15 crit

•Rage :
+10 Acc, -1,5 crit

•Frenzy (replace Slam) : XXOO-OOOO
"Abomination act on pur instinct and hit the first enemy he sees for a deadly blow."
115 Acc, crit 14%
Random target, Armor Piercing and inflict a 4/3 bleed (140%)


Known issue : Bestial shriek still have the animation of Abomination transforming back to human, I can't change it easily, so please apologized if it doesn't look perfect (still work as intended)

Fantastic mod, I personally love it. The forcing of transforming commitment by not being able to transform back forces either a support or massive damage playstyle depending on the fight. It will nullify specific abomination trinkets but its a small price to pay for such a better character

I've always thought a cool idea for the transform would be to have the human form have less HP and have the transformation add max hp and heal the amount added. Then forcing transform on DD. You could still commit to transforming any other time as normal, but just making the transform more or less inevitable. Base health 27 beast health 42 for example. Beast max health boost increased with skill level, base max health increased with armor as usual. What do you think?

No, it currently doesn't even work. The animation starts and the Abom just shrinks back into human form. Which is fine. I wasn't a fan of the riposte puke anyway.

iirc Cho's Abomination swap consistently between forms, while I decided to make it more of a commitement. Anyway glad you like it

I like the idea of commiting to the transform. And getting rid of the double blight is nice touch too. I never liked the idea of puking on people on command. Repeatedly. Enslave is a nice alternative to the Shieldbreaker as well. I feel like she's an auto-include most of the time.

Great job. Can't wait to see the rest. Cho's reworks failed me. Espesically the Abom's. The transform doesn't go off. Bugged, I guess :steamfacepalm:

Okay but how do you get out of his beast form now?
