Amtrak Across Arizona, Pt. 1 [GWD437]

You are the engineer of Amtrak Train 4 – the eastbound Southwest Chief – en route from Los Angeles to Chicago. As the scenario begins, you are temporarily stopped at Williams Junction while a Phoenix-bound intermodal train clears, then you’ll continue east on the Seligman Subdivision toward the next station stop at Flagstaff. Your power is a duo of Amtrak’s General Electric B32-8WH diesels.

Scenario duration: Approximately 40 minutes.


Scenario requirements: The Arizona Divide: Winslow - Williams Route Add-on and Raton Pass: Trinidad - Raton Route Add-On.
