Millennium Dawn No Lags [2021-2023]

Hello strategists who would like to play this game in the present, but unfortunately suffer from the fact that Millennium Dawn is quite laggy.

First Step

When you are in the start menu, click on "Custom Game Rules".

Second Step

Now you close all tabs. Open the Millenium Dawn Rules tab.
And click on "Yes" at "Remove Micro States".

No Lags

Now you should have little or no delays. Have fun.

@Fein Hey bro. Maybe it could be a mod, but sometimes it is also possible that a current version of Millennium Dawn is not stable. If not, you can at least try to reinstall MD or you change the Micro States settings. If not, you can delete cache in the HOI4 launcher, this may also work, after deleting it, restart the launcher again and then start the game. Lemme know if something worked for you. ^^

Excuse Me, could you please make a guide on how for your Millennium Dawn stop crashing? I have all my DLCs on with some Submods on but it stills crash, could you help me out?

If only this mod can utilize dual thread well. My game always run as if it's in 4th speed and constantly crash.

SpeKtra, yes, now I have 32GB 2933MHz. It makes a difference. For me the game is with 32GN 2933Mhz and Windows 11 finally really smooth. But at the highest speed in MD it is sometimes a bit unsmooth. Deactivating micro states also helps a bit.

I got 32GB of ram, and yet i wonder sometimes if it actually makes a difference. Feels like a waste lol

Also a good idea is to have at least 16GB of RAM and a good CPU.
