Description
No solid backstory! No quality art! Just ideas and refinement for what hope to be solid, playable characters for your SotM Game!

This is a collection of Ruduen's custom content for Sentinels of the Multiverse. It currently includes:

- 10 Completely Custom Heroes
- 1 Aeon's End Inspired Hero
- 1 Hero made for a community challenge
- 1+ Variants for most Official Heroes
- 1+ Variants for a handful of Mod Heroes
- 1 Variant for an Official Villain
- 1 Completely Custom Team Villain (Since Why Not?)
- 1 Completely Custom Environment
- Other things that don't fit well into a tidy list

Ruduen is not an artist, so art will likely remain random-Unicode quality.

I'm in a process of drawing arts for my own use. mainly those mods which don't already have art implemented. If you're interested in cooperating or want to implement them in your official mod, I'm open for that also and willing to draw them to match your vision. (cause it's really a shame to leave these marvelous mods empty of arts.) again, thank you for your contribution for the community :)

Thanks for the interest! I think the lore is fairly low on my to-do list, since my character concepts tend to be more piecemeal. I'm happy to answer any questions if they come to mind, and if there's a lot of interest, I can try to prioritize them if my motivation for things rise again!

(Offhand, the very brief summaries - Cassie is a spellcaster who inherited names/powers that was given by a river spirit. Trailblazer is a former soldier who specialized in reconnaissance, and developed fire/mobility powers during a mission that went poorly. He was discharged and worked for hire after.)

This ain't looking lazy at all. There are many interesting characters and cards here in the mod. Do you plan on adding the lore/bio later? don't quite get the concept of Cassie and Trailbrazer XD would love to read their lore.

Thanks for the info! I'll need to take a look at how the battle chats were set up - I don't recall if I had ever updated them before Handelabra had made an update to how chats were handled, so it might take a bit before I can get those set to match!

Battle-Ready Captain Cosmic will proclaim his brother's evil doing days are over even when he fights Heroic Infinitor, however this has the implication that this variant would not help his brother.

While technically not a bug, I find the implied dark magic to make Captain Cosmic not recognize his brother deeply concerning.

Oh, I received another bug report that helped to clarify things. No, it's not intentional that Laggard's cards remain when he would be incapacitated! I'll be fixing that in the next update.

I'm still tuning the numbers on Laggard's cards right now - my thoughts are that Laggard is currently fairly strong with the numbers as is! Let me know if you think they should still be higher once the incapacitation bug is fixed!

I was trying to think of a way to implement the existing behavior in a less "unintentional" way. But if its working as is that is great!

I was also going to suggest that you could boost some of the cards by comparing them to instant effects. I.e. waiting until the start of your turn for 6 damage vs. 5 damage on play. But on further review that initial reaction didn't take post-death cards into account!

Thank you for the feedback! Could you clarify which specific card you're talking about? In terms of Laggard's Hindsight Cards, they all work in the same way as any other card in the game - you do as much as you can. If a hero next to one of the cards is incapacitated, they won't be able to take any relevant actions because they have no cards/powers. They generally shouldn't be instantly destroyed - I can double check if they are.

Also, I was hoping that someone would catch that! Thanks for noticing!

I don't think Hindsight being able to play cards but not deal damage after dying is intentional. But it is very on brand. Maybe a rider on the ongoing cards so they aren't instantly destroyed on character death?

Also props on the Roguelike representation.
