F.C Barcelona new formation and Koeman Barcelona tactics! Football Manager Ronald Koeman's men look revitalized under the new 3-5-2/3-4-3 system and along with the tactical switch, Barcelona have been producing some excellent results. Whether Koeman chooses to stick with this system is yet to be known, but one thing is for sure, and that is that it brought a feel-good factor to those connected with the club.

Ive found that this is an excellent change of pace, underdog tactic wjen managing teams like Barcelona or Chelsea, especially in away games against top competition. Usually I will begin the game with my regular tactics and switch to this during halftime. It seems to really throw the AI for a loop because out of all the sims I''ve run I've seen a variation of a +0.64 to a +1.42 goal increase using this tactic in the 2nd half as opposed to keeping with my regular attack for the entire game. I ran the same sims substituting other attacks in at the 2nd half but this one exceeds the others by at least 40%.

It's a smart maneuver although I've found that the AI does eventually catch on and by mid-season the results, especially against top teams, start going downhill fast.

Still, great work as always, RDF. Always appreciate seeing what comes out of your laboratory next.
