[1.3 Earlier] Modern Bed

Are you tired of always sleeping in a bed of "green sheets"?
This modern bed can change the color of the bed sheets depending on the material.

*No changes to vanilla beds and other mod beds.

Add
  • modern bed
    (fabrics or leathers 30 & cloth 20 & wood log 45)

  • modern double bed
    (fabrics or leathers 60 & cloth 40 & wood log 90)

Modern bed is slightly more comfortable and resting effectiveness than a vanilla bed. It is also accepted to royalty pawns. (referent to the screenshot for stats.)
It can be constructed by researching "complex furniture"
*Changing the bed assignment to hospitals or prisoners does not change the color of the sheets.


-If you're really looking for a color you like, use the Dub's Paint Shop etc.
(Unlike the vanilla bed, this bed does not dye the frame. You can change the color of the sheets only.)

-Maybe not compatible with [JPT] Soft Warm Beds

The modern bed texture was created by Si-Cafe to match Vanilla Rimworld as much as I can.

ok, I've made a 1.4 version for my personal use, will publish it if you give permission. otherwise I can make a patch version that uses your mod as a dependency

This is perfect! Would love to have these be paintable in 1.4 (quite easy to add). Could you please add compatibility for the ergonomic/advanced beds in VE too?

@Yamiel It can be difficult to use two different colored masks in one building.
Then after all, will the same as a vanilla bed. Or it's a "Soft Warm Bed".

Modern beds are simply to just used cloth or leather colors sheets.
If you want perfect coloring of the frame and sheets, use the Dub's Paint with a vanilla bed or any mod bed. Sorry I couldn't meet your request. But I would like to do it as soon as I find a way to make it possible.
