Carthage starts now with Corisca and Palma as territories.... although Palma is just a trible vessel.

I did test this mod of mine. It seems that Carthage really doesn't get a hand up far earlier. It's growth looks closer to what you see in history. The only problem that I ran into was that Carthage does go after Sicily very fast now. So if you are playing as Rome. You need to get done with Italy as fast as possible. The latest update to the game doesn't allow even a full Italy to have more than 3 armies even if you cheat or have a ton of money to afford the three armies early on. A war with Carthage will now be painful in the beginning even on normal. At least that is what I found when playing as Rome. I had Carthage breathing down my neck at the beginning. I managed to win the first punic war taking most of the islands.

However, just as in our timeline. Carthage has rebounded already and is growing heavily in Iberia. I have grown to field 3 mercenaries and 1 legion. When I go to my next war I should be okay, but it will be a hard war to come.

Ah I see what you are saying. Well, I guess I will put this mod on the back burner for a bit. As I wasn't aware about the defaults. I don't know how to fix it. The defaults might be pointing to a value of the province based on such province going to Carthage rather than to Etrusca which shouldn't have Corisca. Thank you for telling me about the problem. It does play for Rome and I didn't notice an issue. I only saw Carthage had actually gotten stronger, but in order for me to fully give them their due. I would have to give them Palma directly which would require me to wipe out a whole people. I am not sure how the game would handle it if I just right out take a faction completely out of the game. As for the reliquary problem is about the religious shrines and treasures. So it is a matter of figuring out how I could have broken it just by altering the owner of a province or making a nation a subject of Carthage.

hi, when I mod the game just changing the owner of a province, the reliquary broken to any faction that I start a game. It's an example:

I just changed owner of #media_felix(The province have no holy sites) in the 00_defaults,
I dont edited nothing about reliquary. You can see the reliquary broken: https://i.redd.it/11ni5tfnbtn61.jpg

Appearently your 00_defaults have the same treasures values than my 00_defaults.
You have ideia about this reliquary problem and how to solve it? thanks!
