Welcome to the Revenant Race Mod!

Starting Traits:
All cities ignore the volcanic terrain penalty
Psionic Weapons Group
Entropy Weapons Group
Tech is divided in to 3 branches Undead, Phantasm, Demons
Undead: Can permanently be raised by dead corpses
Phantasms: Power but cursed ectoplasmic entities that come at an increase cost of energy and cosmite
Demons: Can be created through summons or ritualistic sacrifice

Features:
*Adds a new main race to the game, specialising in summons, with a wide range of units, tech, mods and customisation.

Highlights
Some of the many unique features of this mod include:

Undead are primarily obtained by being raised on the battlefield. Weak but with momentum can become numerous

Phantasms are primarily obtained through colony purchase, while costly they are much harder to kill. Many unique abilities such as the AOW2 Incarnate possessing enemies

Demons are primarily gained through summons and sacrifice, they excel in damage but can be unreliable, often acting on their own will. They gain in strength by consuming souls, which can be gained by killing or eating 'lost souls' lesser phantasms

Hero development allows them to become lord of a city, giving renewable Quests as a reward for winning combat and Apostate weaponry. Note, players can sell quest buildings to remove renewable quests.

Like all race mods, this does not touch any vanilla content and compatible with all mine and most other dev mods with no trouble.

@chi Thats an empire objective correct? i think from memory i couldn't do that as any override to the objective can only effect 1 race mod. The others would be overridden, id have to do a combined mod to have that take effect. Im planning to do an all in 1 mod for AOW4 but for this i figured it was a minor setback id leave it

@Wolfie another thing: founding a colony doesn't count towards the secondary objective 'rebirth of civilization'.

@WeaverOfStars I'll have some spare time around Christmas to look into this. I cant recall exactly which units are effected.

@chi yeah so how it actually works is, convert the target unit, on success the caster dies, the converted unit is given new abilities, eg on death raises a spectre again. So technically the specter keeps killing itself resetting the xp. On the plus side you gain the level of the enemy. It was the only way to recreate the incarnates ability, something i intend to implement into AGW4 once development finishes
