Pacific Banner

This is my recreation of the Pacific Banner. She is an offshore AHTS that was originally built in 1998 by Ulstein and was later refit. I learned a lot building my last ship and have made some significant changes in this ship's design, such as auto compensating ballast and automatic trim tabs. She runs at 62 physics fps for me, so I am pleased with performance. I wanted a ship that had good functionality and details while still being lag-free. She is capable of 21 knots at full speed and has a range of over 300 km if you run her around 11 knots. have fun and let me know if I missed anything.

Startup procedure

-enter bridge
-turn on the displays flip switch
-start generator with key
-start port and starboard engines with keys

Dynamic Positoning

The DP system will work to keep you over an exact spot on the seabed. Push the DP button, and it will engage. This will disable the main engines. You can switch between wind facing or heading hold as well as toggle high or standard settings. This system will keep you in a 4-meter radius in 100 percent wind. It will work best if your nose into the wind before you engage it.

Deck crane

This is controlled by the rear-facing seat in the bridge. Make sure you unlock it with hotkey 3 before you operate.

Winch controls - bollards

The touch screens on the left side of the winch garage are labeled to their respective winches. The controls for the stern towing winch are in the rear-facing seat in the bridge.

Davit controls

The controls to lower the mob is on the landing right next to the boat. First, unlock the boat, then activate the davit.

Fire suppression

The fire suppression pumps can be activated from the navigators seat in the bridge. They will turn on with hotkey 1.

Just played around for about 2 hours with this ship, I absolutely love it, responsive bow and stern thrusters, the fact you can operate the props seperatelly like real life its amazing and how you can uncouple it, this ship is basically the one I work on in real life in terms of manouverability which is amazing, 10/10
