This build may not be suitable for all skill levels, and a particuarly bad matchup may crush your hopes of fufilling some of the more ambitious build stretch goals for items , but that's Dota in general. You might call this guide a lighthearted approach to pub-stomping heroes who are un-ready for you but it has been proven in my own experience to be effective on a range of hero types.

And yes, as far as things go, your arch nemes'es are going to be a a large bipedal, scaly green water monster that shoots beams of (water) out of their mouth with greaves, & a pipe of insight, and a tree hopping monkey (-king) that can just jump out of the way and often lands in your face to bash you with a big lifesteal stick annoyingly enough.

Game Strategy

You are Jakiro and will probably for the first quarter of the game be playing a supportive disabler role, this shouldn't nessecarily be a suprise and it would be wise to initially live up to the expectations placed upon you to try and secure the main-carry's kills on safelane or eke a living upon hardlane. If you are midlane by some unquestioning force, be adequately careful since you are vunerable early on as without item optimization you can be nuked down or ganked easily. Take greater advantage of when the enemy laner isn't there to pressure the tower.

- Liquid fire is free, and while the ability earlygame is scarcer than you might need for tower pushing, later game every other interaction should be a controlled and not auto-clicked liquid fire to ensure the quality of each shot being targeted with witch blade. You may end up being the driving force of tower pushing, and the hammer to break the final uphill barracks sieges based on the decisiveness of teamfights.

- Take charge of teamfights with path of ice and macropyre but do so at a relative distance until arcane-blink so you have more room to repostion.

Jungle Camps & Roshan

Jakiro does have adequate skills for killing camps, but this should be applied in a way that either hinders enemy smallcamp control, or allows you to monoplize upon players mistakes in leaving you alone to farm stacked large camps or leave them out for your carry.

- Wards will let you quickly identify camps that are currently being farmed as well as block them, and most of your skillset doesnt require LOS to harass or initiate.

- Jakiro's capacity for killing ancients is low at all stages of the game without expending abilities on cooldown.

- Jakiro can however Roshan competently cycling liquid fire to activate roshan spell shield and liquid frost to deal a percentile of roshan's max health, taking a agahim blessing or refresher shard will help you win team-fights so always help or initiate to start a fight with roshan yourself once ready.

Mid -Lategame trasition

After ascending and hopefully gaining a few kills before your opponents become too powerful, you will have moved into the territory of being a damage dealer with your liquid flame, right click and macropyre.

- Your role with blink is to make the battlefield as inhospitable and snipe anybody threatening with your liquid flame and frost; casting macropyre into densities of heroes will make their exchanges panful, additionally as you raise high rightclick damage of your own.

- Start to engage with heroes at a distance using a conventional blink at usually unseen angles, and once your team-mates or you reliably connect, slow and burst them down.
