Large Cone Water Tower (Csepel Water Tower)

The tallest water tower of Hungary is in Csepel - one of the capital's districts - 70 m tall. The red-white striped reinforced concrete umbrella serves the near 10 story panel houses without any problem. The building was made in 1980. From the top you can see almost the whole district but first you must take 286 steps on stairs or take the elevator if you are not fan of fitness. There are some similar water towers in Hungary in Kecskemét, Szolnok and Pestszentlőrinc.
