My take on the popular WWII American Warplane, the F4U Corsair. No guarantees on the historical accuracy but I still like the way it came out. With light autocannons, 24 pod rockets per wing, and five dive bombs, it’s just the thing for strafing those pesky AI boats minding their own business. I have recently rebuilt this plane nearly from the ground up to be more capable, with better body angles, maneuverability, and better performing systems overall. The plane did lose a tiny bit of top speed in the process, but I think the improvements more than make up for it.

**I have recently updated the gear ratios and fuel capacity, so the range should be a bit smoother than before
~80-120KM total with a max speed of about 160MPH depending on wind conditions
~25KM or so of that is on the drop-tanks, which can be jettisoned as a backup munition in a pinch

🅵🅴🅰🆃🆄🆁🅴🆂
• Weapon selection is toggled on the lower center part of the main console and then fired with your selected Trigger
input, I recommend sticking with the spacebar for that because a mouse click is clumsy when controlling this plane with WASD and arrows
• Alt hold
• Roll Damper
• Retracting (ish) landing gear
o The tail wheel doesn't tuck away as neatly as before but it should still get out of the way enough
• Equipment and automatic heater
• Folding gullwings
• Auto shutdown for the engine if it overheats, the transmission should also try to adjust for lower engine speeds to keep the prop RPS high enough to stay in the air when slowing down for attack runs

🅽🅾🆃🅴🆂
• Plane has a clutch engage toggle for the prop on the right side of the cockpit so don't forget to hit that before increasing throttle otherwise it wont move anywhere
• There is a slight degree of backwards roll while the plane is parked, i am working n fixing it, but its fairly slight for now
• The parking brake is also on by default now to help counter that, so don't try to take off with it on or else the prop will get a facefull of tarmac

• I have recently made a bunch of updates to this plane
o Overall increase in the size, shape, and scale of the plane
o Improved gear ratios
o Improved control surfaces for better manueverability
o Replaced the previous dummy systems with working DLC weapons
o Increased bombs from 1 to 5
o Fixed the tail wheel stow
o Changed canopy to be closer to the one on the real F4U
o Added a few other touches to be closer to the real plane
