Kawasaki M8

The first Kawasaki M8 cars were delivered to Metro-North in 2011, and in the following decade they have become the railroad's most distinctive equipment. Built for flexibility, these cars have both pantographs and third rail shoes in order to be used both in Connecticut (where third rail power is illegal) and in Grand Central Terminal (where third rail power is mandatory).

This asset for NIMBY Rails features high-quality art rendered from accurate 3D models of the M8, and comes fully featured with 5 liveries, including an accurate Metro-North one. All values except costs are derived from real-world information about the locomotives and cars, and costs are a best-guess for game balance.
