New tournament debuting in 2021 as a practice tournament ahead of the 2022 World Cup. It will feature 22 Arabic speaking nations from the Middle East and Africa.

I have created a tournament that occurs every four years as follows:

Format - 12 lowest ranked teams play a single elimination preliminary round with 6 winners advancing. Group stage consists of those 6 nations joined by the 10 top-seeded nations in 4 groups of 4. Top two qualify for the quarter-finals.

Teams - Algeria, Bahrain, Comoros, Djibouti, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, UAE, Yemen

First held - Nov/Dec 2021

Cycle - Only one tournament has been announced but I have added it on a four-year cycle with rotating hosts.
