Description
I swear I did not intend for my next mod to be a MOTHER civ, but here we are.



The Porky Empire is a civilization with its focus war and expansion. We Love the King Days allow for Porky to expand his domain without too much hassle from unhappiness, and the increased gold output from them as well as Arcades being a source of income during military production allows him to fill his coffers and bolster his military by purchasing units from eras ahead of him. The Thunder Tower also enables him to exert his authority upon his enemies and even his own subjects!

  • 3rd Unique Component
  • 4th Unique Component
  • Civ IV Traits in Civ V
  • Vox Populi (I haven't fully tested VP and in fact none of the extra diplomacy dialogue enabled by it has been written. I simply did not want to delay this release any further since it has been on-and-off development since early April last year. Not sure if people use my civs with it anyhow)

Hello @EVIL FOOT OF THE TYRANT HOG. So, based on your description it sounds like the script that handles all the fancy logic for Porky's abilities has somehow become corrupted, resulting in it throwing a syntax error and be incapable of running at all. Otherwise, we'd see some functionality still if it was a runtime issue.

I've not updated this mod ever and it still works on my end, so some things to help me troubleshoot for you: what other mods are you using? And if you can, please reproduce the bugs and then send me your lua.log as a pastebin. See the provided link to learn how to enable and provide your lua.log.

Gold from the arcade doesn't work either, I don't see any difference when gold is gained.

Also to elaborate on my last comment: 30 turns passed without any future units showing up.

The search for a future unit is broken. Just sits there as a blank unit and never actually pulls any forward.
