I used this MOD awhile back and when I went to use it recently I found it was outdated.
I put some new artwork together in it and it looks much better, hence the name.



This mod adds chess-themed sculptures that are otherwise identical to small sculptures.



No known issues.



Q: Can I add and remove this safely?

Q: Where do I put this in the MOD load order?
A: Anywhere you'd like.

It's all good, thanks for the responsiveness! This mod works just find as intended on a clean save even with all my mods loaded so it's not even a load order conflict or anything, it's literally just that one particular save file is apparently getting a bit fucky haha... if the price I have to pay for changing my load order every couple weeks is that specific colony has invisible rooks I can deal with it

I checked the code on each and they identical except for the names of the statues. So I started a quick game and made those two and all worked fine.

Big ups my man, just checked out a new colony in dev mode with all my other mods deactivated... rooks are rooks, knights are knights, and all the pieces spawn in the way they should, thanks for the quick fix! :B1:

Sad part is in my main colony, rooks specifically still won't spawn, so it's either some weird conflict or it might just be the save file getting kinda inherently unstable (I've added mods and changed the load order more than once for this colony, I'm honestly kinda amazed it still runs without crashing most of the time haha).

Worst case scenario, I'll just make the rest of the chess board and put some dining chairs or something where the rooks should be xD might actually be a cool place for the "statue of a colonist" from that mod

@Jimbo Slice - I went through the minor amount of code for this mod and almost came back here to tell you I couldn't find anything wrong. Then decided to check the images and low and behold I had the names swapped. TYVM.

Update pushed. :) Won't affect anything code or recipe or bill or error wise, you'll just have to swap your pieces manually on the board.

I'm not sure if this is potentially a load order / compatibility issue as I am running around 150 mods, but I've noticed that the bills for the Rook and the Knight appear to be reversed -- ie, "make a rook sculpture" has the image of a knight piece and "make a knight sculpture" has a rook.

Making a knight sculpture works, though it produces a rook visually, but the bill for "make a rook sculpture" seems broken -- when the unfinished sculpture hits 0 work remaining, it disappears but no finished sculpture is produced and the bill doesn't go down, so a pawn will just infinitely try to produce rook sculptures that stop existing forever when they're assigned to art and never actually make a sculpture...

Thanks for doing all the work to make & maintain the mod, I really like it and want to see it working correctly haha!
