HWS+ Creative Scenario

Description
Info

HWS Configs have the goal to enrich the Multiplayer gaming experience for the HWS+ Servers https://empyrion-homeworld.net, because the Vanilla Config files have the focus on Singleplayer.
It concentrates heavily on performance and fun, hence some values may differ from Vanilla.

I value feedback, so the Config files are constantly changing based on the Community interaction with them.

The main intention for this Workshop Scenario is for HWS players to test and work with the HWS Configs for HWS - in form of an easy to use Scenario.
You don't have all features, story and certain gameplay as you have on the servers.
For that please join our HWS+ EU and HWS+ NA server (just filter your Multiplayer lobby for HWS+)

Elemental Weapon System (EWS)
HWS uses a detailed Rock-Paper-Scissors principle for Weapons and Materials. A quick sheet can be seen here:

I credit Vermillion and Ravien for his Reforged Eden Scenario from which I might take inspirations from.

Pull requests are welcome, if you describe what your goal of your change is and how it could benefit the gameplay on HWS+.

Constructive feedback about the HWS+ Config files are most welcome in form of "Issues" https://github.com/B-iggy/HWS-Plus-Creative-Scenario/issues. That way I can relate directly on the proper Config part and reference your "Issue" Feedback in a commit.

Known problems

* Shield Extender have no final size yet. Need dedicated models for the small version.

* Elemental Hand Weapons do not shoot sometimes (need to find a repro). After a relog they work again.

* if you try to access anything related to suitprops (for example the SnowmanHead), you get a red error in the console. I will not share my suitprops bundle as long as it's not needed.

HWS+ RC (Release Candidate) started!

Please use this season as much as possible to provide feedback about the direction you want to have and enjoy!
If all goes well, the HWS+ Full Release is coming on March 23th 2023! At our 7th Anniversary of HWS! :PartyGlasses:

For HWS+ RC you will find a completely reworked config, a reworked universe and many changes/fixes along the way.
But please keep in mind that nothing is final yet!
Especially the Config will be updated weekly now, based on your feedback.
Dialogue / PDA improvements will also come on the fly during the season.

Hey Rex, is there a reason that you can't create a faction on a MP server but you can in a single player game? I have looked for yaml config settings but can't seem to find them. Hit me up in discord when you have time.

What the hell where all stars?? only 1 star & no enemies NPC base/ships. I always PvE not PvP

@Wolves Hero please read the fat big ATTENTION warning at the top. This scenario only works with 1.8 because of the new Unity version. Update yourself to Experimental 1.8 or just wait 2 days.
