Welcome to the full West Highland Line!

This is a merged version of the following routes:

Suburban Glasgow Northwest
West Highland Line South
West Highland Line Extension
The Oban Line

Many thanks to both Thomson Interactive and Milepost Simulations for permission to include their products in this merged route. Please note that I have had to retexture routes that are merged in to use the same texture set. This may give some of the routes a different "look" than supplied out the box! Thanks to Michael Hamilton for permission to include the Oban line.

The revamped scenery has now reached Dalmally on the Oban line (updated April 13, 2021).

Could anyone please let me know if they still have the original version of the route, pre-Suburban Glasgow Northwest? I have the original .rwp file, but I'm missing the additional assets we needed to download back then. If you're asking why I would want to play the original route, it's mainly due to the fact that it had AI services in Quick Drive (which I could edit via TS Tools), something missing from the new version. When I didn't have a lot of time I used to hop in Quick Drive for a bit, as this is one of my favourite routes ever. Thank you in advance!

This is an excellent route. Could you combine it with the workshop electrified Edinburgh to Glasgow route to enable the overnight sleeper service from Edinburgh to Fort William to be done?

Same issue, route doesn't show up at all in TS.

I'm having some trouble with the route, for example, it won't show up in quick drive. Can anyone help?

Trobule is when a developer marks it as a final build on steam they cant then go back and edit it it locks in. Having spoken to ian directly he is busy with something else just now so doubt he will be back at this any time soon.

Speedy: Not what I meant. You can't publish them on the Workshop unless a route has been marked Final. So I don't see any of your scenarios, or anyone else's, unless published on a site where I find them.

you can make and play scenarios on it already its been released for years.

Are you still working on this route? Or can we eventually have a final build (even if it's a v1 with another release later under a new route ID) so that we can start making and playing scenarios on the Steam Workshop with it?

The Oban Line is part of the route - you don't need to get it from UKTS any more. This was agreed with the original author some time ago.

There are actually no further requirements for this, other than the core routes and the asset pack outlined above. There are no quick drives included with this distribution of it!
