- "Retextured" ships:

This pack contains a number of small " retexture " ship compositions and random ad hoc CIS ship designs that i didn't feel was worth uploading on their own. the "retextured" ships are well known and need no introduction, but as for the ad hoc CIS ships, this was just a generalized term given to CIS ships still serving with separatist hold-outs and rebel cells that had been extensively improved or redesigned but not standardised, usually just being a one of a kind. the most famous of these being the Rebel one command ship that served throughout the galactic civil war. after the clone wars ( and the subsequence deactivation of the droid army ) many CIS ships that were built around the use of none organics became almost unusable and with the loss of all automated factories and construction yards, the days of them being mass produced and used in over whelming numbers were unquestionably gone, making them obsolete in every aspect. many factions that still had them or could get their hands on them would combine various ships to try and make a more durable and better armed makeshift design that could go toe-to-toe with the newer VSD and ISD 1's. most that survived the reconquest of the outer rim would end up in service with the rebel's.

Questions & Answers
Q: Does this do anything?
A: No, its just a prop to help bring those star wars scenarios to life

Q: How do i find it in game?
A: It's not a mod so it wont show in your launcher. in the editor you need to press the groups key or F2 then click on the composition icon. click the second link in the description and watch the first video to see what those icons look like. ( the video is of him saving the comp but the location is the same )

Q: Does it have an interior ?
A: Some have hanger bays, but they lack collision.

Q: Why is it spawning all broken up?
A: You need to click off Vertical Mode & Surface Snapping before spawning any comp, click the first link in the description, there's a section in the first part in the yellow box that'll show you what the button looks like.

Q: Why don't you make actual retextures for the ships?
A: I don't know how/ i'm no artist

Q: Were are the space maps from in the pics
A: Outer space [WIP]

Q: Do i need ace and task force radio radio
A: No, though you will get error messages and some clone assets wont work without it like the pov visor, they are not needed for this ship

Q: Are the Ad Hoc CIS ships cannon?
A: Yes and no. I created all the designs, so none of them are "official". however as we see with ships like the rebel one and Lucrehulk Prime, an effort was made shortly after the clone wars/ start of the civil war to modernize old CIS ships and make then more friendly for organics to use. there wasn't any kind of organized project to do it, just something they did out of desperation that we never really got to see.

Q: Whats with the names of the CIS ships?
A: Its not names or class's, more of generalized labels to help differentiate their abilities. with Carrier retrofits being designed to primarily carry strike craft, Heavy's are more heavily armed and armoured, and Assault's are fast and well armed and armoured but have all their armour and weapons on their front half.

Known Bugs & Issues
- the "retextures" can get wonky at range with the clipping can look a bit off

they don't have collision. ii believe most were just meant to be used as background props by the dev's. to even use most of the hangers you'll have to place floor pads just under the floors and walls

Well first of all, great mod. But I wonder why do I clip thru like 90% of the ships?
