Credit to MadScientistFM, this is a port of his great work back from FM19, I've been doing some housekeeping and adding new leagues and players to the game.

Warning: because of all the new player records, it takes a very long time to start a new save file. For me it takes at least three hours. Leave it on overnight, or before you go in to work. I'm serious! Once it loads (it gets stuck on "Setting up game database, it doesn't crash, it really does just take that long) I think it runs very well. There are only about 27000 players with all leagues loaded, and it will get bigger as the years go by and the game creates regens.

Double warning: the database file up on Steam Workshop doesn't have Raul (Spain/Real Madrid) or Simao (Portugal/Benfica), I messed up some of the importing from fm20 and they haven't patched in updating files on steam workshop yet.

The easiest way to play is to download a "day one save game" from me, you get to skip the startup time. I'll try to upload a few more with different (smaller/faster) setups when i can

Paste into the folder with all your other save games, which on a default windows setup is Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2021\games

Paste into your Documents\SI\FM21\graphics\faces folder, overwrite the config file

The database contains 39 leagues from 27 nations with full squads from the 2003-04 season.
