Emika's Magic Minigolf - v1.0

Description
Map pitch :
Emika, an anime magical priestess, has invited you to her sky temple for a matter of utmost importance... having a fun game of minigolf! Are you ready to enter her land of enchantment and cringy weebness anime wonder?

Features :
  • Full easy-medium difficulty 18 hole course
  • Uses my own custom 3D to bring original anime art into Golf it!
  • Emika is my own original character. All the art on cutouts by myself
  • The anime theming is actually pretty tame : people who can't stand this style should still be able to enjoy the map
  • Overall fairly simple and relaxed course, but features a few harder holes
  • Custom sound effects and lots of triggered events for enhanced experience
  • Sound effects are from sound libraries I purchased (Humble Bundle)
  • "Asian Gate" custom model by ekomanic. It's the only custom asset not done by myself
  • Default friction and bounciness recommended, but not mandatory
  • Please report any bug you find, and I'll fix it ASAP

My comments :
A long time ago, I made a small ripple in the golf it map pool by releasing a map that featured cardboard cutouts of anime characters I illustrated myself. It was fairly succesful, and I promised I would eventually do it again. And now is FINALLY that time.

"Gravity Cubes", another map I released recently, was also started near the same time. But gravity cubes entirely focused on using the gravity mechanic and creating a space theme. While this map was all about bringing back my signature weeb anime stuff, while also making use of the "floating islands" and "rivers" which had been introduced to the game during my long hiatus.

I begun working on this map almost 3 months ago, but a bug in the 3D importer blocked me for a while. I could only finish and publish it now, during the holiday season... even though it has NOTHING to do with the holidays!

Oh well. I don't mind that much. It may not have christmas trees in it, but it's my small gift to the Golf It community in a way. This is IMHO the most beautiful map I ever did and arguably the most fun as well. I am pretty proud of it and I really hope you will have a good time with it.

Been playing golf it a long time.... And your map has been one of my faves. And this is the only time I've ever commented....that's how much I enjoyed your map.

@SynthK : Thanks for being constructive, but I don't think I'll make those changes you're suggesting, and since you explained your remarks, I'll also explain why :
- The music can be adjusted as you said. And i think most people enjoy having "music they can opt out" (as usual in the game), rather than having none at all
- The boosters making no sound is something that always has annoyed me a lot in this game. I like it way better with this extra feedback. I would weight your dislike for it higher if there were tons of boosters on the map, but there aren't actually that many. You have many booster-free places to enjoy the river sounds ;)

Very nice, I really enjoyed it. A couple of very minor comments:
- If possible, turn off the music so you only hear the water. Still can do this manually, but would be nice if it was automatic
- The booster sound was fun the 1st time, but got a little old after that, and it kind of took away from the relaxing sound of the water.
