Hello all together !

So ... here are the pedestrian pathways, which are finally finished !
Greta would love them ! ;) Its another "recycling - project. :D

These pathways uses the same textures, which I already used for the retaining walls, plus
one new additional set of textures. Therefore they´re very lightweight, if you use
the Loading Screen Mod, what you definitely should ! ;)

Its about 4 MB per Path with LSM, and of course, 4 MB for all 3 !

I´ve decided to separte them into different uploads, to give you the abilitiy
to take what you want.

About the Path(s)

  • all elevations (except for the 2m version (no tunnels)
  • every set comes devided into two parts

  • Part I = ground version only (behaves and looks like park life path)

  • Part II = the rest, elvated/bridge and tunnel version (all elevations shown below)

  • Path#01 - 2 meter in width
  • Path#02 - 4 meter in width
  • Path#01 - 8 meter in width

  • elevated version with a low fence
  • bridge version with a higher chainlink fence
  • slope with grass on top

Issues / Walkarrounds

  • in order to connect the elevated versions gapless to the ground versions, I had to make
    some design choices
  • that means, when connecting the ground versions to "normal vanilla paths", the
    connection/node might not look that nice (example below)

  • move it might be needed to ajust the position of the pillars
  • plus connecting the elevated versions to vanilla park life parts may also result in a
    "gap/ugly connection"

    Thats nothing that can be changed. Sadly, this is how the game works in some cases.

They're to be found in the pedestrian paths category, next to the vanilla pathways.

@.::RPDaLioN::. You probably need "fine road tools" to "force/change" the elevated section in to a "bridge - version".

@clus I know it should but that's precisely the issue. Maybe I'm doing something wrong but idk what. I tried vaaarious heights of bridge from the bare minimum to the max (which I thought I would later bring down with the MoveIt/NodeController but no, neither the 4m nor the 8m wide version has tall fence on the bridges. Any ideas why could that be? I click on the Parks tool -> Paths -> select the elevated version of the path, go on to draw it as it ascends and becomes a bridge - nope, only the railing (short)

thats very nice to hear. i love your work sofar.
only recently discovered you after i learned NExt2 was dead and we should start swapping roads.
if it wasn't for that i don't think i'd have seen your work. which is a crying shame as after looking through your stuff, you have amazing assets. these paths, retaining walls and grass tram are my tops.
think i subscribed atleast half your content. haha and liked them all.
gonna add to followed authors now.

thanks :) and yeah ... there are several "combi versions" of path- and quay versions on my disk. I´ve created them together with the already released networks, but at first I wanted to wait some time to release them (with some time - distance to the first/base versions) ,...then I focused on other projects.... and ultimately I haven't found the time nor the motivation to release them in to the ws. :/

They´re almost ready ...
whats still missing are the thumbnails and some decent pictures for the steam page...

sorry if been asked before. i know you have 2 versions of this path... pedestrian only and bike only.
any chance in the future we see a combined Ped & Bike version?

i never use bike only paths in my cities, they either use a combined path or get on the roads.

Sry for the late reply ... @Aziz CEL is needed for the tunnel lights, but the paths will work without that mod.

Saw what I've been wanting to see for months - pedestrian bridges with tall (chain link) fence, immediately subbed to this including to its dependencies, I tried whatnot but the paths only have the railing and the tall fence is missing. Tried it with 8m wide and 4m wide. Disappointed. Someone please help!
