Skyrim Civil War Mod by mba

Beschreibung
Adds Stormcloak Rebellion and Imperial Legion civilizations plus a map of skyrim with a scenario modeled after the civil war questline from The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim. In the scenario you can play as either the stormcloaks or the imperials. To win the scenario you must control your opponent's capital.

This mod is compatible with both of the expansions, it does not however work with vanilla.

If the map doesn't show up in map select you may need to move the map file from the MODS folder to the maps folder. To do this, simply go to /documents/my games/sid meiers civilization 5/MODS/ then open up the skyrim civil war mod by mba folder, find the map file inside it called "skyrim", then copy and paste that map file into the folder: /documents/my games/sid meiers civilization 5/maps/

BUG FIX: fixed a bug that caused the imperials and stormcloaks to be unable to build their unique units.

Enjoy!

It's really good! All of the extra detail you've added brings skyrim back to life. However, I noticed that there is no wealth option in the production line for the cities. This is not really to much of a problem early game, but it forces you to stop every turn or so and build more units, which in turn have to be moved all the way across the board to fight the enemy. It takes you out of playing the game and fighting the war when you are constantly having to deal with nonstop incoming reinforcements that take forever to see battle and are killed as soon as they get to the front lines. I understand that this might have been what you were going for, as it is accurate to a real life war scenario. But, it takes the fun right out of it about the 50th turn. Unless of course you love long drawn out wars the will take your whole day to play.

But I enjoyed crushing the stormcloaks. Thank you for this!

if u ever make a version with more cities heres my advice
Axemen: 50% against pikemen, 25% strentgh against sword, -25% knights, -33% arrows, -15 defending , plus 25% attacking. Same strength as swordsman.
Longsword: 3x cost as basegame. non promotion. Maybe this is balanced?
Crossbow: 3x cost as basegame
Lancer: 3x cost as basegame

The idea is simply rather than making stronger units out of game to make them 3 times the cost, a good quality vs quanity where k
one can get 5 of the default. TBH this would be best only when max unit cap is reached

Just played as imperials, on king would have been far quicker and easier its just theres a wonder called the great wall. Had to capture the rebellions 2 most northern cities, and then from there i citadel marched to the capital, i captured it and im gonna want to finish it cause this bastard has like 20 units in my territory that cant move anymore. Sweet revenge!

There are no settlers in TES.
Also, you should add in the forworn; they are quite an important faction, even during the civil war. There are documents ingame claiming they were about to assult Markarth inmass, would be quite interesting to see a simulation of how the imperials would react.
