Mod Description from Wookieepedia
Adjusted slightly to better fit the lore
The Maelstrom-class battle cruiser was a class of battlecruiser that was introduced during the Clone Wars and deployed by the Republic Navy of the Galactic Republic as their 2nd largest capital ship and as a ship of the proto-Star Destroyer family. Despite its power, only a select few witnessed any action. At the end of the war, the battlecruisers were still in service to the Galactic Empire but were mothballed or used as technology test beds. At least one, the Simoom, came under ownership of the Alliance to Restore the Republic.

Despite its impressive design, the battle cruisers proved unpopular and were phased out of service soon after its introduction, which by that time, the war was in its final stage of the war in favour of newer and faster ships, such as the Victory-class Star Destroyer. Additionally, the Maelstrom-class was rarely deployed in its planned roles, despite its power, as it required vast resources to maintain and was too expensive to operate.

The Maelstrom-class was crewed by 45,000 officers, pilots, and enlisted crew, and could accommodate 15,000 troops and support staff. It carried a complement of numerous assault ships, gunboats, landing craft, shuttles, and an entire fighter wing of 120 starfighters, although standard specifications were ninety-six starfighters. A single ship of the class cost 158,000,000 credits.

Questions & Answers
Q: Does this do anything?
A: No, its just a prop to help bring those Star wars scenarios to life. giving the republic a large imposing "battleship" while not being, while not being too massive like the Mandator or SSD's, making it more practical as a prop for ground combat scenarios much like the Lucrehulk

Q: Does it have an interior ?
A: No, but there is PLENTY of space if you wish to make your own.

Q: How do i find it in game?
A: It's not a mod so it wont show in your launcher. in the editor you need to press the groups key or F2 then click on the composition icon. click the second link in the description and watch the first video to see what those icons look like. ( the video is of him saving the comp but the location is the same )

Q: Why is it spawning all broken up?
A: You need to click off Vertical Mode & Surface Snapping before spawning any comp, click the first link in the description, there's a section in the first part in the yellow box that'll show you what the button looks like.

Q: what mod is the Z-95 Headhunter , ARC170, and ground assets from?
A: 3as (beta test) https://steamcommunity.com/workshop/filedetails/?id=2058554822

Q: Were are the space maps from in the pics
A: Outer space [WIP]

Q: Do i need ace and task force radio radio
A: No, though you will get error messages and some clone assets wont work without it like the pov visor, they are not needed for this ship

Q: What is the Maelstrom 2
A: It was the designation given to some of the surviving ships still serving with the empire serving as technology test beds during the reconquest of the outer rim that had be heavily modified. Although still considered too expensive to operate and maintain, they were relegated to defending high value core worlds like Kuat and Coruscant.

Known Bugs & Issues
- No hanger
- There are no official pictures of this class, so this is just designed based off the vague description
