Description
R-series 560 hp ISO container lift truck with sleeper cab

Scania R 560 ISO Container Lift User Manual

The R-series offers a strong mix of driver comfort, power and affordability. This model comes with a 560 hp (estimated) engine, high roofed sleeper cab for quality comfort and a price of $44,711. The R-series ISO Container Lift truck is fully capable of hauling 20 ft containers (ISO or AISO).

Major Features
  • 9+1 Automatic Transmission (with realistic gear ratios)
  • ISO Container Lift for 20 ft containers (ISO or AISO)
  • High roofed sleeper cab
  • Cab lift for maintenance access
  • SIBTaT trailer hitch for towing SIBTaT compatible trailers

Usage
Truck is a left-hand drive. Door buttons are located one block above the painted handle and they double as rear warning lights when the doors are open.

Use the Power button on the intrument panel to the right of the steering wheel. Shift transmission mode with the Up/Down arrow keys. Release the parking brake with the flip switch to the right of the Power button.

Driving is done with standard W/A/S/D. Chassis is rear axle drive. The transmission offers the modes Reverse, Neutral, Drive, Power and Crawl. Power mode increases the RPMs at which the engine shifts gears which increases the torque available. Crawl mode is locked to the crawl gear for maximum torque or fine tuning the position of the truck or load.

Turn indicators and hazard lights are controlled by the Left/Right arrow keys. The keys move between states that are layed out like so: Back to Off <<<Hazard << Left Indicator < Off > Right Indiciator >> Hazard >>> Back to Off

Container Lift
The container lift arm is operated from the driver's seat and the locks for grabbing containers are operated from the dashboard to the left of the steering wheel.

Important: Place the truck into Neutral when operating the container lift arm. The arm uses a lot of power and the engine will only charge the battery when in Neutral or driving at speed.

For loading containers, the arm should be all the way "backward", the jib should be all the way "in" and the lifting locks should be "on". Then ensure that both the top locks and bottom locks are fully engaged with the container and rotate the arm "forward". To fully load a container, the arm should be all the way "forward" and the travel locks should be "on". Move the jib "out" until the travel locks engage.

For unloading containers, the travel locks should be "off" and the jib should be all the way "in". Then rotate the arm "backward" until the container is flat on the ground. To fully unload the container, turn the lifting locks "off" and pack the arm by rotating it all the way "forward".

Important Operator Information
When leaving the truck stationary for a significant time while the engine is on or loading/unloading containers, the operator should put the transmission into Neutral to allow the engine to charge the batteries.

The truck has four batteries. The additional batteries are disconnected while the engine is off to preserve charge. However, if charge should become fully depleted, a jumping connection (red) is provided on the passenger side of the chassis.

Yah, it would've been nice if u made that mechanism or some automatic mechanism on those trailers. I can't find any others so nice of i made one :D

The lift axle is automatic, it lowers when you connect a container. I plan to make my own trailers. I don't know if anyone has dolly container trailers.
