The Subjugator-Class Heavy Cruisers where some of the most powerful vessels in the Separatist Navy. Built shortly before the outbreak of the Clone Wars, these vessels soon became high value targets for the Republic Navy.

Even though only a few of these vessels were ever built, the represented a significant threat to the Republic Navy. Each Vessel was armed with over 500 dual turbolaser turrets, 400 laser cannons & 10 proton torpedo tubes. With this vast armament, the Subjugator-Class vessels were able to shred the Venator-Class Star Destroyers of the Republic Navy.

One vessel of the Subjugator-Class would gain infamy after leading a campaign against the Republic in the early weeks of the war. The Malevolence was armed with an experimental Ion Cannon that allowed it to disable entire fleets of Republic warships with a single shot. The Malevolence was eventually disabled by a flight of Republic BTL-B Y-Wings. While disabled it's hyperdive was sabotaged and when the crew attempted to jump into hyperspace the vessel collided with a nearby moon.
