Sniper Aya for Beginner [Solo/Duo] - Community Guide by Pruprukru

Introduction to Sniper Aya. This will cover the basic of Skill Amp Sniper for both solo and duo(Squad will also work). This guide will make you contest for Hotel tree of life which is a good thing to learn. I'll also cover about food and upgrade to end game gears.

Introduction

Sniper Aya has more damage than other weapons but it comes with 2 downside which are very limited ammo and very slow movement speed. Attack speed is not great with Sniper Aya since you will run out of ammo and need to reload. So what we want for Aya is raw attack power or skill amp + movement speed.

Skills

Q

This will deal double shot damage to your target similar to your auto attack. You should almost always right click to attack first before using this skill to make it shoot like 3 shot (1 shot + double shot)

W

This is your main skill to deal damage. You will shoot bullets in a fix direction which deal lots of damage. This is also act like your defensive skill. You always want to save it to shoot at people who try to follow you. If you use this skill and miss most of the shots just run away until the cool down is back up again. It could also be interrupt so you need to be careful about that too. You can cancel this skill by pressing W again.

E

This is your mobility skill. You can't use it while using your W. This is often take as a first skill and leave it until you max W and Q. Use it at early game to get to boxes faster. You can use it to chase people or escape. It also goes through wall.

R

This will stun enemies in circle radius around you after a short casting. It will most of the time still stun and deal damage even after you got interrupt. Just use this skill to get yourself some breathing room and get away from your enemies.

Passive

This will create a shield to absorb damage for you which is nice to have.

Sniper skill

You start a motion to snipe and gain vision very far in front of you. Use left click to slowly snipe your target up to 3 shots. You will lost vision around you too so be careful while using this skill. Well not gonna lie this skill is pretty bad. You can use it to finish off people who run away from you but it won't be any useful in a fight.

Skill order

Level 1 E First for mobility.

Level 2 W second for damage.

Level 3 Q or W is fine for third.

Max R > W > Q > E/Passive

Get passive for more tankiness or E for a bit more mobility after Q and E maxed. It doesn't make much different but I like to level my passive.

Routes

At school

Use lighter with 1 water bottle to make hot water. We can get food in forest. But if you don't get lighter just use 1 water bottle with alcohol to make soju for early game SP regen. You need 1 water bottle for your helmet so don't use it. You can get water bottle at hotel and forest but it will waste lots of time for first day. We need all the stats we can get since we are going to contest Tree of life at Hotel night.

Must get

Laser pointer for your weapon. Make your rifle into Springfield.

Very good to have

Bike helmet for Motorcycle helmet. Just get stone after school to craft safety helmet and use your water bottle to craft fire helmet.

Slipper This will make you run a bit faster and we need this to make Glacial shoe at hotel after we get Tree of life. If we didn't get Slipper it will take a long time to make Glacial shoe.

Lighter Our build don't need lighter but it make easy food and overall good to have.

At Forest

We just want to finish Golden Rifle here. Kill 1 bat along the way with your W you might get leather or something you want for the build. If you come out of school on avenue you can search 1-2 containers along the way. You can finish Uchiwa if you get clothe and fan. Chocolate and milk can also make into chocolate chip cookies. (milk + stick = butter. butter + chocolate = chocolate chip cookies) But this was not needed. You just need to get to forest ASAP. We need to get ready to fight for Tree of life at night.

If you have hot water you can boiled some eggs or oriental herb for oriental concoction. Oriental herb + flower for orchid. Or at least you can make egg + bread for egg bun.

Must get

Pickaxe + Gemstone This will make into gold and make your Springfield into Golden Rifle.

At Hotel

Depend on how much time you have left until night. You can loot places close to the trees. Complete what you can. at 20 second left before night time 2 wolfs will spawn not far from Tree of life. Try to kill these wolfs if you get random Meteorite or Moonstone you can make The deadly Ray.

At night just get Tree of life. Fight anyone for it you are decently strong. If you come late and someone already take the tree then just move on we can get another chance at Forest or Cemetery.

Now just get everything you can here and move on to Beach. You can also kill another 2 wolf in hotel to find meteorite and moon stone.

At Beach

It will be rare if you get everything here but get what you can. There are also 3 bear here for random meteorite and moonstone. But you should upgrade your golden rifle ASAP and not delay it anymore. You can fight anyone after this. Just go to any place you didn't get your items.

3 things are often missing

Hammer - Alley and Pond
Clothes - Avenue and Temple
Scrap Metal - Dock, Factory, and Hospital

End Game Build

You don't actually need to craft better gear unless you get force core. Just kill people and take their stuff.

Motocycle helmet is our weakest gear so try to replace it with something else.

Imperial Crown for health and skill amp

Imperial Burgonet for defense and skill amp and cool down reduction. this is your best helmet.

The rest is not that much better than Motor cycle helmet for this build.

Rocker's jacket can be replace with commander's armor or even a Kabana but you'll lose 40% healing reduction. Depend on your preference.

Sword of Shah Jahan is already pretty good. Only Auto arm is better. Mitril shield, Creed of the night might be a bit better late game since defense is better than HP. Draupnir is not that bad too but I like Sword of Shah Jahan more.

Uchiwa is already good for the build. But if you want to change rocker's jacket for Kabana you should use White crane fan. Veritas Lux Mea also has better stat than Uchiwa which is only a little bit better.

Duo Guide

It's often super risky to stay alone and get your items but we can have build that work well with our Aya route.

These are examples

CDR Tanky Hyunwoo

You don't actually share too many important stuff. Aya can also secure stuff like lighter for Hyunwoo and share ice. Li Dailin with same build is also fine-ish but i don't recommend super tanky Li Dailin like this.

Isol

It's not the most optimal Isol build but you get CDR and some tankiness plus damage to work with.

Silvia

Same route as Isol. Silvia is pretty weird since full on spell amp still don't feel that she hit hard or satisfying. So she need some attack speed. The life steal from Magnum Boa is kinda nice. All the tankiness and cooldown reduction make you more annoying too.

Hart

All you need is paper from temple the rest is bonus. You can also start at archery range or chapel. You have to make straight jacket instead of glacial shoe though so grab 1 more paper and 1 more lighter.

Jackie

This is tanky spell amp-ish CDR Jackie.

Conclusion

Well most character can work for this Duo route. Your armor can be either EOD suit or rocker's jacket. Your Shoe can be strait jacket, white rhinos, or Feather boots. Accessory can be Uchiwa, white crane fan, magazine or just anything you just have to finish it last at other zone. Arm can be Sword of Shah which is good for most character and build or Draupnir. Sword stopper also work but I hate the item. Random mithil, force core, and meteorite can also help finish the build too.
