Frozen Norsca

Description
A small mod that changes the climate in Norsca from chaotic to frozen (All the same, even though Norsca is the closest of all territories to Umbra, it is still not part of the wastelands of Chaos, and there are no horrors that are happening at the poles)

Compatible with all mods not related to climate change.

could you also make it so dwarfs have frozen climate suitability?

This still works for the S&F and I still love it.

@Manwhale Are there other mods?
Manwhale Mar 4, 2021 @ 7:42am
Playing as Couronne. Freezes on Turn 21 on the Vanaheimlings. Stopped freezing after I deactivated this mod.

@Jarr Quite an interesting remark, although even before the climate change, the dark elves also went to Norsk - for them it is like a chaos wasteland, that an icy climate is green.

This mod is excellent and I really appreciate it, but I've noticed that it seems to have a weird knock-off effect on the Dark Elf AI, to the point where they ignore everything else in favor of invading Norsca with upwards of 5 full stacks at a time. I assume this is something about the way their AI prioritizes climates? It makes it rather difficult to play Norsca when you have to fight off the entire might of Naggarond, which has a far better economy than you

@Smoochie Your words have been heard, my friend, but it will not be possible to update the mod in the near future. Only if after 2 weeks

That's awesome to hear, on both accounts. As for your hypothetical, I think the following settlements have potential to be made mountainous:

The Tower of Khrakk
Sarl Encampment
Naglfari Plain
Graeling Moot
Bjornling's Gathering

It's a shame that the Norse dwarf holds aren't fully fleshed out by CA yet. Would be nice to see Kraka Dorden, Kraka Ravnsvake, and Kraka Ornsmotek one of these days.
