The point of this mod is to recreate some of the major ArmA 3 units with RHS mods (and a few additions). Not all kits and factions are 100%, but they are as close as most people will need.

AAF (INDEP)

The Altis Armed Forces (AAF) represent the main land, air and sea defence force of the Republic of Altis and Stratis. Fiercely loyal to its leader, Colonel Georgious Akhanteros, the present day AAF is an amalgamation of the various pro-Akhanteros and anti-Loyalist forces that banded together during the civil war. Utilizing a variety of equipment from both NATO and CSAT forces the AAF implements a selection of tactics learned while training under the Task Force Aegis NATO group.

CSAT: China, Russia, NAMS, and Iran (OpFor)

The Canton Protocol Strategic Alliance Treaty is a military and economic alliance that consists of Eastern nations, and serve as a direct counterpart to NATO. The bulk of the coalition's military might is divided up into different forces depending on the region that they operate in; as of current, this consists of the China, Russia, Iran, and NAMS (North African Member States) Conventional and Special Forces. Additionally a destabilization unit headed by the Chinese MSS code named Viper is used by CSAT to help spread their influence.

Following the 2026 Kavala coup d'etat that would lead to the start of the bloody civil war, the Loyalists primarily consisted of disgruntled Altian citizens, ex-military defectors, and former members of the pre-civil war government. United against the hardline Altis Armed Forces (AAF) led by the rogue officer Colonel Akhanteros, their goal was the restoration of the legitimate civilian leadership and removal of Akhanteros' junta.

Gendarmerie (BluFor)

Specifically formed to curtail illegal activities such as drugs and arms smuggling throughout the Horizon Islands, they are essentially a militarised police force that primarily operates out of the country's Tanoa province. As of 2035, the agency is led by Director General Roch Robineau. In the wake of a series of natural disasters that have struck the island nation, the Gendarmerie have recently been working alongside NATO peacekeepers deployed to Tanoa as part of the "Safe Horizon" exercises to root out a new threat called the Syndikat.

CTRG (BluFor, OpFor, INDEP)

Operating under the direct command of NATO's highest echelons, CTRG is a multinational special forces unit that conducts clandestine, black operations throughout the globe. CTRG's existence is neither acknowledged or recognised by NATO, and all operations involving the unit are always publicly denied or are conducted under the guise of other conventional forces.

Syndikat (INDEP)

The Syndikat have expanded throughout Tanoa province and other neighbouring regions around the Pacific. They primarily target Non-Government Organisation (NGO) run camps and anyone else that opposes them; particularly members of the Horizon Islands' law enforcement agencies. The key leader that holds Syndikat together is Solomon Maru, also known by his alias as "Warlock". He was a former member of the failed "Red Tiger" coup which attempted to topple a North African government almost a decade prior to the South Pacific Disaster.
