How to Logout of Apex Legends on Steam!

A guide on how to unlink your Origin account from Steam. If you made a mistake.

When we delete a persona from your account, you will be able to link it to another account, but your in-game progress will not transfer over. That means you’ll lose access to all entitlements, games, memberships or subscriptions, and in-game purchases that are associated with that persona. You will also permanently lose all game progress. If we delete a persona on an account you use to play FIFA, and that persona is still set as active in the web or companion app, you will lose access to the companion and web app entirely on your account. If we delete a persona on an account you use to play Apex Legends, you may have issues with Battle Pass leveling, item unlocks, and other errors.

Let's start.

Like many of you, I ran into a problem when I linked another account from Origin.
At the moment, there is only one solution to the problem, Live Chat with EA Support.
I will show the solution to the problem with my example.

• Follow the link EA Help

At the bottom we select the options, I chose to delete the account.

• Push *Select contact option*

We will briefly describe the problem on the next page.

• Then press *Request Live Chat*

A chat window and your queue number will appear. That's all, we are waiting in line, then we describe your problem to the assistant and enjoy the game.

• Support regions are better to use India or United States of America

*An account that contains a lock cannot be unlinked.

Got hacked lost everything EA was less than helpful great system we have here!

NEVER LINK A BANNED ACCOUNT.

It will be locked on to the account and you won't be able to unlink the account to steam.
My account was hacked and got compromised, but when I got it back I was told that the account was banned right after playing it here in steam. (Turns out the hackers used hax to play)

So yea just don't.

no progress lost for any of the accounts.

you can just contact them for "manage my account" and then select "transfer your progress" and in the subject type "unlink steam account". request live chat and in like 2 minutes a live chat operator will answer you and most likely unlink it for you. it happened to me and it didnt take more than 5 minutes for the whole process to complete. they asked for my first name and my email adress which i use for my origin account and then they unlinked my account.

@M U S E , This guide is primarily intended for those who have linked the wrong account by mistake. I linked a completely empty account, after unlinking, I linked my main account where all the progress is saved.
