VX-66 ORION Platform Tow Truck

V.1.0 READY

Hello all, this flatbed tow truck is loosely based on the Rheinmetall HX series of military service flat beds. It has a deployable bed that swivels outwards and lowers to allow the user to tie cables between the winches and rope anchors on whatever needs hauling. There are also 2 large winches with magalls for hauling vehicles that dont have anchors. Its got a good topspeed and decent handling. Its suspension is loose so it tilts during heavy turns but rarely flips over, even when heavily loaded. Ive tested it with a few vehicles and it seems to work with pretty much any vehicle that can be loaded onto the bed, length wise. Hope you enjoy!

Engine start
1. start the engine with the ignition key. (located at the right bottom of the steering wheel)
2. Hold W or D. Truck will shift into the proper gear based on the available engine power.

To deploy bed
Key controller is found on the exterior driver side of the truck (near the bed). There is also an alternate flip switch on the center console.

To tilt cab and access engine
Key controller is found on the exterior passenger side of the truck

To load a vehicle onto the bed:
1. Park inline with target vehicle
2. Deploy bed
3. Grab cables from bed stowage and attach to "#1" winches and front vehicle anchors on target vehicle.
4. Winch in until vehicle is pulled onto the bed
5. Grab cables from bed stowage and attack to "#2" winches and rear vehicle anchors on target vehicle
6. Retract completely both tandem sets of winches to lock down vehicle on bed
7. Retract bed back into position.

-Might add a loading crane for shipping containers
