Soyuz Rocket/spacecraft and Launch pad [1/2 scale]

Description
Vehicle for people who couldn't get the mission to work.--WILL NOT fit in normal hangars--you will need to modify the build areas or make your own mission.

The Soyuz spacecraft and rocket is a series of spacecraft designed for the Soviet Union by the Korolev Design Bureau in the 1960s that still remains in service today having made more than 140 flights. As the most reliable launch vehicle in the world to date the Soyuz platform was until very recently the only means of transporting crews to the ISS after the retirement of the space shuttle in 2011. Soyuz spacecraft were instrumental in launching Mir/Salyut and parts of the ISS and transporting crew to these stations. Soyuz is widely considered the world's safest, most cost-effective human spaceflight vehicle established by its unparalleled length of operational history.

Features

--half scale Soyuz Rocket and spacecraft--I'm sure full scale is possible but when I attempted it Stormworks would frequently crash due to the interactions between all the stages

--All stages properly implemented (including the korolev cross)

--Launch Stand--the scaling means some of the proportions are a little off but I'm really happy with how it looks

Issues

--The LES (launch escape system) is non functional -- possibly could be added in the future

--Farings don't separate as they realistically should -- getting them to seperate was causing serious issues. phantom forces generated by magnets/connectors. Hinges are much more stable (but obviously isn't realistic)

--lift can be a little janky if you ride it up and down--you should only need to use it once anyway

your stabilization worked fine with lower thrust. It was just that it was unstable with a a twr of about 200 :D
also, due to stormworks physics, it can't get past around 70 m/s because of the insane amounts of drag, it just stops accelerating.

you said soyuz is crammed. i thought the mercury capsule was crammed

I think I put it in the description of the mission that an update messed up the timing so thanks for taking the time to figure out some new settings that work better. Its been a long time since I was working on this but I believe the LES separation was something I tried to incorporate but never managed to make fit. Maybe with the new hard-point connectors as a more compact join it would be easier. I used a PID controller for stabilisation but that clearly isn't effective anymore for whatever reason. The parachute was timed (as with all the staging) so you may have splashed down before that timer ran out

tip to make it have the right thrust and burn times.
Booster: 4% thrust, delete all but 2 fuel tanks
Core: 6% thrust, delete 2 fuel tanks (should have 7 remaining)
Gives a good TWR and has reasonably accurate burn times

the boosters will burn for 2 mins and 20.5 seconds, the core will burn for 5 minutes and 2 seconds

nice rocket!
You might want to reduce the solid rocket boosters' thrust to be 25%, seeing as they quadrupled their thrust.
I would also like to see the launch escape tower jettison prior to booster sep, just like in the real one.
Also maybe some stabilization, my rocket went all over the place.
The parachute also never deployed :(

You did nail the cramped capsule, though.

It used to be like that but one of the updates messed with it. Its not working properly now but I don't want to have to go through all the trial and error to figure out how long the timing needs to be again.

and b3n you could have made it so when the boosters have no fuel they jettison

It needs an edited workbench as its too big to spawn in the normal ones. Alternatively use the link and get the mission version. That spawns it on the creative Island.
