Description
The Planet was a locomotive built in 1830 by Robert Stephenson, the same man who made the Rocket, and it was revolutionary for having the driving pistons on the inside the train rather than the outside, making it more streamlined and without the large engineering bits sticking out. As such, it was rather straightforwards to make here in Brick Rigs! There's one large and one small wheel each side and the boiler sits in the middle as normal. There's a smoke stack at the front and a smaller one just behind it, probably as a regulator, while the gold dome sits right at the back of the boiler. There's a strip of metal running past the sides of the wheels to a set of buffers. There's some guard rails around the rear of the boiler for the driver and fireman, while a tender full of coal is pulled behind it.

Top speed: an unrealistic 19 mph.

Crew: 1 - driver.

Controls:
W/S to drive.

Enjoy this new early locomotive! It's one of the easier ones I've made as there's no moving pistons or engine parts for me to model!

I've no idea but it made it very easy to build because of it! No exterior pistons meant no engineering to do for me!

I wonder why the british did that inside piston craziness thing
