A Quick Guide on how to unlock the red Chest in the newest DLC

Rapid Summary

First thing you need are the baits. There is a total of 5 of them, based on the rarity level: White, Green, Blue, Purple and Orange. The only issue is that you need to do this in a single run, or else the Progress will be erased and you'll have to collect them again from the first one.

Baits Positions

The first bait (White) is the most simple, you will find it as soon as you reach the Couple House


The second bait (Green) it's near the broken truck with the Baby inside


The third Bait (Blue) it's a bit Hidden. You will find it between a wall and a tank in the Zaford distillery, just before you reach the pot of gold


The Fourth Bait (Purple) it's peculiar. If it's your first playthough it will be dropped by the BLING Loader, in the next ones you will find it in a bucket near the potion Mixer


The last Bait (Orange) it's a drop from the DLC Boss, the Goliath Couple. Dont worry, even if it classified as Legendary it will be dropped everytime you kill them both

THRESHER FISHING TIME!!!

Now comes the Fun part( at least I believe so)
Return to the Barracks in the middle of the map and use the Bait based on the lure color,You will identify them Easily.
Attach the bait by pressing E and wait untill a Tresher gets the bait and pops out. Then it's Fighting time!

Thresher Trashing Guide

Like the baits, the Threshers are difficult to fight as the color of the used bait.
The first one, Sigmand (White) It's a regular Thresher, it wont be difficult at all.


The Second, Ikaroa (Green), It's a WormHole Thresher. Keep your distance and Avoid contact and you'll be fine.


The Third, Moby (Blue), It's an Albino Feeler Thresher (what a Twist uh?). Hit the Tentacles and avoid the Spikes by keep moving.


The Fourth, Fire Crak'n (Purple), It's a Badass Fire Thresher. Stay away from him or else you're Toast. For Real. Get inside the village and shoot him from distance.


The last one is Rue, The Love Thresher! It's like a Boss Thresher. Think about Old Slappy, but with a Hat and the power of love. Unfortunately you cant shoot the Hat or divorce with him for crits, but shooting the eyes will do the same. Since he's on a Boss enemy level he packs quite a punch and can use a Wormhole Thresher singularity, so stand clear from him and you'll do Great.

You've earned it!

After Killing all the Threshers (you dont have to do it in order) go to the Locked chest near the bridge. You'll see that there is a green silhouette for every Thresher Killed


Get near to every form and press E to hang the Trophies and Voilà!
The chest will be Unlocked for you!

1-you should check if you already completed the main quest of the dlc, otherwise it might be a problem with installation, so if the problem persists you should contact the gearbox support
2-kill 'em again, they respawn every time you exit and reload the game, like all other bosses

I have a couple of issues with this DLC: One, I can't farm it. If I exit out of the area and back in, I don't get the quests and, importantly, the boss all over again. Two, I must have killed the couple in a weird spot, because I can't find the orange bait in my game.

You could even get a legendary from rue or the fire thresher, or the chest.

Even if you get crap from the chest its still fun to exit out of the game and go get all of them again and farm the chest.
