Wycombe Branch Scenarios

Description

This scenario puts you in charge of a Paddington - Bourne End stopping service on the Wycombe Branch. You take over the train at Maidenhead, take it to Bourne End to meet the Marlow Donkey, and return to Maidenhead.

This scenario uses a 1960 BR timetable, however the equipment used and probably also the details of the train movements are freelanced.

30 minutes, difficult due to tight timetable. Make sure to leave your station stops quickly and don't coast into the stations either, use your brakes!

I have never travelled this line before, so everything was new and exciting. However, you scared me with your comments about the tight timetable, so I spent all my time watching the speedo and not looking at the scenery. Now I know I can relax a little, I will run again, and take a look around. Overall, I loved this scenario, and thank you for creating it. Well done!

Nice scenario for a great route. The class 111 is one of my favourites and it is very easy to drive her with the Raildriver. There was no problem with the tight timetable. Thank you.

Thanks for your kind comments, I'm glad you liked you liked this little scenario. If you're looking for a return trip Maidenhead - High Wycombe and back, you should try the two other scenarios in this series in succession. I might also do another one where you have to do the full run back and forth in one session, there are a few trains on my timetable that only had a few minutes layover at High Wycombe.
