it happens in single player, all the time

if this issue takes place in multiplayer, then the gamemode is the reason for the collapsing landing gear. If this takes place in singleplayer, then ill have to look into a little later.

get in the co-pilot seat and press H to look at the controls, look for a control that says break tail and press that button

the inner engines never broke on the original, only the outer engines did
