Amtrak Palmetto Northbound (Part 2) [CP031]

Description
In 1996, Amtrak added a third New York–Miami train called the Silver Palm, which was an upgrade of the long running all-coach Palmetto that ran from New York to Georgia. The new train offered sleeping car service and deviated at Jacksonville to run down the CSX S-Line to to Tampa before continuing on to Miami. In 2002, Amtrak removed the sleeping cars and dining car from the train and brought back the Palmetto name. By the end of 2004 the Palmetto stopped serving Florida entirely and now terminates at Savannah as it had in decades past.

In this scenario, it's early 2004, double tracking of the South Florida Rail Corridor has largely been completed, and you're going to be driving train #90—the northbound Palmetto—from Fort Lauderdale to West Palm Beach. Though most of Amtrak's fleet has been repainted into the new Phase IV colors, there are still some Phase III cars floating around the system, including an Amfleet lounge and Heritage baggage car in your consist.

Based on the April 26, 2004 Amtrak timetable. The schedule is padded by several minutes at each station so take your time accelerating and slowing down between station stops.

Duration: 55 minutes
Difficulty: Easy

This scenario requires the following DLC:

- Miami - West Palm Beach Route Add-On
- Miami Commuter Rail F40PHL-2 Loco Add-On
- Amtrak P30CH Loco Add-On
