Unique Settlement Placements

Description
This is intended to be a tool for modders.

This mod gives each settlement in Kenshi it's own unique object in FCS and on the map. Many overhaul mods make this change and it can easily cause conflicts between them. Hopefully using this should help avoid such conflicts.

Any questions or bugs please just report in the comments.

Higher definition of the map in preview which lists out each location name and it's String ID. Helpfully provided by prd! Thank you.

Anyone is free to use this in their mods directly without asking permission.

for future reference you can use this mod and re-upload it, that goes for anyone. This is not a creative work but merely a tool to be used.

It can work just fine by simply having it active when editing. As long as you keep the same SIDs, it will work fine no matter what you else you change.

Some modders were given permission to simply add it directly into their mod. This was mostly to avoid breaking their mods for existing users by adding a new requirement. For a new mod there really wouldn't be any reason to use this method.

For the first method, no permission is needed, as your users would need to subscribe to this mod for it to work. For the second, permission would be required, since you'd be reuploading this mod's content.

Hello. Nice mod! There is one thing I would like to be clarified of. If that's no problem. When we create new town/city and etc. do we download this mod, open it up in FCS and use it as a base (meaning we edit/add stuff with this mod set to active) and then rename it to our own name, uploading with unique name ID of course? If so what is the licensing/permissions of this mod? I am really new to Kenshi world editing and etc, but planning on working new mod adding some town and found this. I really want to use something that would help my mod integrate seamlessly into modded Kenshi or even while running Genesis alongside. Thanks!

Reactive World has now been updated to use these settlements. Hopefully a few more big mods can jump in to help give this some attention. :)
