Walking Cane

Description
This mod adds in a very simple walking stick / cane that provides a slight boost to walking speed. It comes at the cost of not carrying an actual weapon. In a pinch, you can try to fight off an enemy with the cane. It might kill a squirrel, but you'll be hard pressed against an enemy with a knife (or assault rifle).

It can be crafted at either the Crafting Spot or Machining Table. It is considered Neolithic. It can be made of wood or metallic materials.

Nice mod. Would be cool if there was like a cane sword or something to make them useful in combat but still cool mod.

i mean, normal people can use walking canes as well. hiking sticks are basically walking canes for terrain

I wish I knew how to make this item so only injured pawns could use it. Unfortunately that would require C# knowledge that I'm lacking. :(

can you add an ability to make an injured pawn go a bit faster with this cane? to help them recover from the speed debuffs from blood loss or injured legs

I am looking at a combat extended patch for this. I don't personally run CE, so it's a bit of a pain in the ass, but I'll check it out.

This was a request from the Ludeon Forums. They wanted a wheelchair, which I couldn't do, but said they'd settle for a cane, which I could do! :)

I always wondered why there weren't things like wheelchairs in Rimworld given how advanced everything is. This seems like a cool idea.
