Description
Pikemen and Landsknecht now upgrade to Musketmen.

Pikemen upgrading to Lancers never made sense. Pikemen behave as a infantry unit, not a cavalry unit. It makes more sense that Pikemen, the standard frontline infantry of the medieval era, should upgrade to Musketmen, the standard frontline infantry of the renaissance era.

AI players, especially city-states, who do not have access to horses, and therefore can't upgrade Pikemen to Lancers, should now upgrade their Pikemen without too much trouble. This should help to alleviate the problem of AI pikemen lasting till the end of the game.

I recommend pairing this mod with my "Mounted Unit Changes" mod. This is not required, but the two mods complement each other well.

Note: Impi's are untouched, and still upgrade to Riflemen.

I understand.^^
In the second half of the game, I used to select and use Landsknecht to use the policy characteristics of "honor" to gain culture and happiness by using Landsknecht in the city, but it's a bit disappointing that it didn't work.

Nevertheless, I deeply appreciate your mode.^^

With this mod, Landsknecht and Pikeman will go obsolete at the 'Gunpowder' tech. This may be causing the behavior you are seeing.

If you use this mode, Landsknecht will not appear.
Even if you select Landsknecht from "Commercial" in the policy, it does not appear to be available for purchase because Landsknecht is not visible in the city.

I'm using your other modes very well.
