I would consider this critical Scout knowledge that not everyone really picks up on.
I agree though, I love his high single target DPS, especially when you have a run and gun set up on him, feels like I'm playing oldschool doom sometimes.
Just gotta do your weeklies, DDs/EDDs, and Machine Events.
Scout still fills the role of high damage to singular targets, and I kinda like it that way. Gives Scout his own unique style that differs from the other classes. Albeit he's "weak" in terms of crowd control but that's not really the point without the right set up. He's a way for players to handle situations differently.
