Recipes to make Gordon Ramsay's wellington moist (UPDATE 3/5/2024)

You can find recipes in that pastebin, but here's some that have been submitted by viewers:

Somebunny's Bomb ass scallopped potatoes:

4 tablespoons butter
1 small onion, finely chopped (1/3 cup)
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 1/2 cups milk, can be substituted with non-dairy milk alts
6 medium peeled or unpeeled potatoes, thinly sliced (6 cups)

Pre-heat your oven to 350°F. Grease a 2-quart casserole with shortening or cooking spray. Then in a 2-quart saucepan, melt 3 tablespoons of the butter over medium heat. Cook your onion in butter about 2 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender. Stir in flour, salt and pepper. Cook, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Stir in your milk. Then spread your potatoes in casserole dish. Pour sauce over potatoes. Cut remaining butter into small pieces; sprinkle over potatoes. Then bake 30 for minutes before uncovering and continuing to bake for 1-1 hour 10 minutes or until potatoes are tender.

Then let stand for 5 to 10 minutes before serving so the sauce can thicken and voila!



Nannotyranno's Homeade cheese sauce recipe:
1 cup of milk
4 tablespoons of flour
2 teaspoons of sriracha or personal choice of hot sauce
1 teaspoon of salt
preferred amount of chives (optional)

pour the cup of milk in a sauce pan and set the heat to medium.
once you see steam come from the milk. whisk in the flour and pour in the chives and hot sauce, stir until it all gets to know eachother and heat up a little longer than lift the pan off the heat and add the freshly grated cheese of your choosing (about 1 cup should suffice but i doubt more cheese would make it worse) and stir the cheese in while its off the heat.
once the cheese has fully integrated into society put it back on the heat but turn it down to about a 1 and continue to stir for about 40 seconds. once you've done that turn off the heat and let it set for 1 to 2 minutes to allow the sauce to thicken a smidge and BAM, you got a bomb ♥♥♥ cheese sauce

sdmax300's Easy marinated tofu:
1 block of firm/extra firm tofu
Drain then press for ~30 mins to get moisture out

While that's happening mix
4 tbsp soy sauce
3 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tbsp mirin
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tbsp minced garlic, I just use it out of a jar
1 tbsp grated ginger or ginger paste
2-3 tbsp canola or vegetable oil

Once the tofu is pressed cut into cubes or steaks or whatever, toss em in a tupperware with the marinade and leave overnight
Once marinated toss cubes with a few spoons of cornstarch and pan fry until crispy

Thanks for the submission, I have made tofu in the past, its pretty dang great. Highly suggest people try it if they never have, it's very versatile.
