Quin Merac - Pirate CV

Description
a weird pirate combat cv for lv 7 ;)

notes:
- mostly a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ t1 cv, which shines at t2 i think (see lcd "upgrades general list")
- normal steel, 1 cockpit (lv 7 = no passenger seats)
- 2x 40k ammo, 12 turrets, 2 sentrys
(comes with 11 turrets, cut one for some destroyed turret model, mostly to save some cpu efficiency, with the 12th turret you will still sit at 92% efficiency)
- cargo: 120k, 2x 48k, 2x 15k, 16k (expandable up to 92k)
- space for 2x large constructors (comes with only 1 to save cpu)
- parking: some small hv (5x3 hangar door) and small sv's, behind cockpit and in front of cockpit (space for repair block there) -> falls a bit short on parking space overall i think for its size
- 2x 6=12 growspots (i did not have room for more)
- areas: growing, 2 cabins, cockpit, construction/medic, hangar
- combat (i have not tested this one in particular), but did some general tests before with cv's here. if the target is in front+below you have at all times 6 turrets that have line of sight and can fire. so most low level poi's it should be able to take to take even without shields. will at most result in some holes in the front hangar section, maybe losing a grav gen, but vital parts are at the back or higher up. by the time you put warp in, you should have a shield and with it this should do fine anyway.

lore:
they offered us peace
- we declined
they offered us money
- we declined
they offered us glory
- we declined
because we are
QUIN MERAC

Once a proud pirate lord rose to become known through out the worlds. He was the last of a dying breed - an aristocrat that turned privateer. some say he found back to the true ways of the rich, doing what they always do ... but nonetheless his name rang loud and clear through the void of space.
feared by a few, but respected by all for his actions he left a legacy. not his riches, his ship or his glory, but a way - the way of the QUIN MERAC.

ramblings: originally i did not want to build a pirate cv. but i kept building ... well a pirate shaped ship and if it looks and feels like one, so we might as well call it by the name. this comes not with the usual destroyed stuff. it fell a bit short on that, mostly due to time i guess and for some reason i think with the overall bit proud lore/backstory i imagined for this (pirate lord ship) the totaly destroyed look/feel does not fit perfectly.

for anyone wondering, about the short slogan thing, why its not "i". this was originally thought of as "we" so this stayed. the whole paragraph below i really just made up to have something more stand there^^, but it fits in well i think.

the orignal idea of this is. you have one ship that is facing some behemoth/overwhelming fleet. the ship gets the offer to surrender and declines, because "we are Quin merac". there is nothing more to it.
does it say the crew or the captain, is there some code behind it? i don't know, i just find this a cool short story piece. i really just build the thing and find the name "Quin Merac" is epic sounding. as always i really have no clue like the rest ;)

the paragraph leaves this now still a bit open to your imagination (which i always like). i imagine some kind of pirate space jedi's with a touch of mediaeval vibes :P

Absolutely awesome and atmospheric ship, suits very well for a pirate approach, congrats! After installing a shield at the rear part, I think I will prolungate this entire part with a protective wall, and this will also make the landing pad above much bigger so that a serious-sized SV can land there (in the last years T2-T3 SVs have all become much larger, e.g think about the Skaar-Glaive T4 or the Merc-MX11). My biggest problem will be to add a shield to your other great creation, the Corvus Corvette, which I have actually transformed in Combat Steel, but here also I must considerably enlarge the landing pads to accomodate for serious ships to land.
Go on with your great work!
