CJL's Babylon

Description
We proudly present CJL's Babylon, led by Hammurabi and Nebuchadnezzar II !

This is our first mod, and it is a passion project of us, because we think Babylon is an incredibly important civilization in world history and one of the most iconic civilizations of the series, and it is a shame, that they are not (yet) in the game.
Obviously, if Firaxis decides to add them to the game in the future, we will make appropriate adjustments.
Keep in mind that, because it is our first mod, there are still some rough edges and there might be balancing issues.
So don't hesitate giving us constructive feedback, if you feel, there are some things that could use a change. We gladly will look into it! :)

Available in English and German Localisation.
We recommend playing with the mods Sui Generis and Tomatekh's Religions, for a better feeling.

Agenda: Chosen by Shamash: Likes civilizations, that keep their citizens happy and loyal, as well as productive. Regards civilizations, whose citizens are unhappy or disloyal, as unable to maintain law and order, especially if they have a lot of Gold.

No worries! I'll be sure to try out this new mod in future, and I am sure it will give players more options in how they want to enjoy Babylon. : )

Just wanted to say that I'd also be up for seeing a mod that adds the UA and LUA from this mod into the NFP version of Babylon too.

I, for one, would be interested in a mod changing the UA and LUA.

We have released 3 mods now, one with Nebuchadnezzar II, one with the UU and UI for Babylon, and one with the UI for Hammurabi.
Keep in mind, that you should deactivate this mod, if you use those.

And I just wanted to say, if there are people interested in a mod, changing the UA and LUA from the New Frontier Pass to the ones from our version, please tell us.

And obviously, please give us feedback, if you like them, and tell us if there are any issues. :)

@Cave Johnson
I'm looking forward to your new version!~

Yeah, that's true. I do wish that it kept applying to all of your districts over the course of the game, so you would never need to build Libraries, Markets and such, or that the ability had some extra bonuses that didn't go away over time.

This could have caused issues with balance, of course. But one way to deal with that would be to buff some of the other civs in the game, so that they can compete with all of the new, powerful civs that the NFP has brought into the game.

Babylon's leader ability is likely the only part of their kit I'm not the biggest fan of, but I look forward to seeing how the additions from this mod mesh with the NFP version of Babylon. I'll be sure to let you guys know what I think of it!

@CyberGamer15 One thing I find the most unappealing about Hammurabi's ability is just the fact, that it becomes straight up useless once you have built every district once. It makes sense, that their kit is early-game focused, but I think, the feeling of having an almost completely useless ability at some point, does not make for a particularly good experience.

Well, we hope too, that our additions will mesh well with the new version of Babylon. So please let us know then, what you think! :)
